THE OFFSPRING AND 311 GET PULLED OVER BY THE ‘SUPER TROOPERS’ IN ‘FUNNY OR DIE’ SKIT

The Offspring and 311 are hitting the road together on their “Never-Ending Summer” tour next month, and the two bands have united to film a skit for “Funny or Die” to promote the joint trek. In the video, The Offspring’s Noodles and 311’s P-Nut get pulled over by State Troopers Ramathorn and Farva, from the “Super Troopers” movies. When the troopers ask for their names, P-Nut replies, “311 and The Offspring.” “Not the band names, dum-dum – what are your real names?” Farva demands. “P-Nut, and Noodles!” they respond. “Is he still doing band names?” Ramathorn asks. “Sounds like band names!” Farva replies. There’s also a comically large bag of marijuana involved. The “Never-Ending Summer” tour begins July 25th in Mountain View, California. “Super Troopers 2” will be released on Blu-ray/DVD on July 17th.
